<\/span><\/li>\n- Policy Formulation and Adoption – <\/b><\/span>The Board crafts and endorses school policies, aided by the school\u2019s leadership team. <\/span>
<\/span><\/li>\n- Personnel – <\/b><\/span>The Board hires, evaluates, and mentors the director. While it focuses on top-level decisions, day-to-day school management, and other personnel matters are entrusted to the director alongside the leadership, faculty, and staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Participation in the TIS School Board<\/b>
<\/b>The Board comprises up to eleven voting trustees, including a spot for a representative from the US Ambassador to Uzbekistan. Parental involvement is encouraged, with any non-employee parent eligible for election or appointment. Elections are held annually in April during the General Meeting. Additionally, the board may appoint members as needed. Regular meetings occur monthly on the last Wednesday at 18:00, supplemented by interim committee sessions.
