Exchange Program

Tashkent International School offers an exchange student program for students outside Uzbekistan as well as students currently attending TIS. According to TIS Ltd Board policy, an exchange student is an international student coming from outside Uzbekistan who temporarily attends TIS and is hosted by a TIS family member or is a current TIS student who temporarily attends a school outside Uzbekistan. Potential host families must first complete an application for an exchange student along with a regular TIS enrollment application. The exchange student program will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to only one exchange student attending TIS at any one time. Once the application for an exchange student is approved, including meeting TIS admission criteria, the exchange student will be allowed to attend TIS only if there is space available in that grade level. An exchange student may attend TIS for a maximum of one semester and not in grades 11 or 12.
