Secondary After-School Activities

UPDATE:

Tashkent International School (TIS) offers secondary students a wide range of after-school and co-curricular activities throughout the year. The activities are divided into three terms, or trimesters – fall, winter and spring. Some activities such as Model United Nations, Various Music programs, Student Councils and Yearbook  run for the whole year. Other activities are only offered for one or two trimesters.

Trimester 1 ASAs will start on Monday, 13th January; however some activities – Athletics, MS Drama, Model United Nations and CEESA Music  may start before this date.

Registration for activities will open from Friday, 6th December via a Google Form sent from Mr. Brendan Tobin (adac@tashschool.org).

Registration on the google form does not guarantee a spot in that activity as some activities have  limited space. Final student ASA schedules will be sent home via email to parents on Monday, 6th January.

Students in Grade 8 and below are not permitted to remain on campus after school hours unsupervised, therefore, students in Grades 6, 7 & 8 that are not participating in an activity should be picked up by 3.30pm; even if siblings are participating in another activity.

There will be no activities on early dismissal days, such as parent conferences, or on days when there is no school.

Please send any questions to Mr. Brendan Tobin, Athletics Director & Activities Coordinator adac@tashschool.org
